HYLC High School Clubs
Where It All Began
We are proud to support high school students throughout California’s Central Valley, from Sacramento to Merced. Through more than 30 high school clubs, students have opportunities to connect, grow, and lead within their school communities. These clubs are student-led and supported by dedicated campus advisors who help foster a welcoming and encouraging environment.
Our clubs provide students with a sense of belonging, meaningful community, and opportunities for personal growth, leadership development, and service. By creating spaces where students feel seen, valued, and connected, we are helping shape the next generation of latino leaders across the Central Valley.
HYLC Junior High Program
Building the Foundation
Over the past five years, HYLC has expanded into junior high schools across California’s Central Valley, creating opportunities for students to begin their leadership journey at an earlier age. Through the partnership of dedicated teachers and HYLC staff, we are planting seeds of leadership that will continue to grow for years to come.
Our junior high clubs provide students with career exposure, leadership development, and opportunities to better understand how culture shapes their perspectives and influences their leadership. We are proud to serve every Modesto City Schools junior high campus and look forward to reaching even more students throughout the Valley.
“HYLC is important to me because it brings me closer to my culture and I can identify with all my peers.”
